Good luck trying to become an Oxford University professor without family money
- 2Gkashmiri 4y agoi dont understand this. If there are students coming in, if there are research grants being given to college from outside, if the college has huge endowments, why can't it pay "teachers"? You make a income expenditure account, income from students, income from grants, and teacher expenses, infra expeneses, admin expenses. Why should teachers not be paid for their teaching and the research the college gets money for or is there something i am missing?
