This is a RISC CPU running at 48MHz (capable of bursting to 96MHz but that requires too much power, see elsewhere in this thread by the project builder) which doesn't just put an 80s PC to shame, the SPARCstation 1 in 1989 was running a 20MHz RISC CPU :D basically this potato runs circles around anything from the 1980s except maybe the Cray-2 or such.
