I don’t think they’d win anything from it. Plus parents would be riled at their State subsidized babysitters shirking their primary duty. The root of the low salaries isn’t a demand problem anyway, it’s a supply problem. There’s tons of people who can teach and they’re willing to do it for the current wages.
