- bradwood 4y agoHaving linked this for you above, I feed into this rabbit hole (again)! This is quite a good one -- https://lore.kernel.org/ksummit/CAHk-=wiB6FJknDC5PMfpkg4gZrbSuC3d391VyReM4Wb0+JYXXA@mail.gmail.com/ https://lore.kernel.org/ksummit/CAHk-=wiB6FJknDC5PMfpkg4gZrb...
- orf 4y agoIs it ironic that his comments are harder to read (on mobiles) precisely because of his weird self-imposed word wrapping? I get it. His arguments make sense because they don’t want to bake in a specific “start block quote character”, and without that generic word wrapping is quite difficult (even though everyone uses >). But not every tool suffers from this issue and it’s quite annoying to read text like this Linus
- ihatepython 4y agoIt is pleasant to read in a terminal, and on my desktop browser. I have to agree with Linus on this one.
- replwoacause 4y agoDoes he have a reputation for being a prick? Because man, that guy seems adversarial in all of his replies.
- ihatepython 4y agoHe's from Finland. Relative to other Finns, he is extremely nice. Try watching the video with the Finnish guy and the bear on Youtube, I won't tell you who ends up winning.
