The US screams of lack of privacy protections of our own data and unchangable identities. Why they're pointing to just tiktok is a farce.
- bmarquez 4y agoYeah, it's like people have forgotten that Snowden revealed a direct link between NSA and big tech via PRISM.
- falcolas 4y agoIt's worse than that. State governments are actively using their quasi-legal (they haven't passed the judicial tests yet) powers to force social media to help prosecute their citizens... And they're hiding behind "the chinese government is worse". Yeah, they're terrible. Prosecuting women for seeking health services is also terrible.
