10Gtek has worked well for me. I have several transceivers and DAC cables from them. Fiber is awesome for distance and speed, but few devices can take SPF+ so I have a bunch of bulky thunderbolt to SPF+ dongles. Hard-earned suggestion: LABEL your fiber cable on both ends with the LENGTH (and id while you are at it). Nothing worse than running the fiber only to have it a few feet too short in the end.
