We just need more players in the field. The more that production gets monopolised by only one or two companies, the less competition and the less production. (Especially when there is collusion between them.) Capitalism is a process whereby money and power get concentrated into fewer and fewer hands over time. Eventually the system gets too concentrated for its own good. A hundred years or so ago, there were hundreds of independent newspapers all competing for subscribers and readers. Today there are about half a dozen media companies. Our loss.
