Just looking at the landing page for “sidekick” the ADHD browser they mention, I see more visual noise in the screenshots than any browser I’ve ever used. There’s notification bullets for emails and chat apps on the side, random stats about memory usage on the new tab screen, seemingly endless places to stash settings and random pop-over UI elements.
Seems a little odd to call it the browser for people with ADHD.
Does anyone want that? I’m fine with the usual browser feature set we zeroed in on after most people agreed in the 00’s that wrapping feed readers and email clients into browsers was difficult to get right.

- rolenthedeep 4y agoThis looks like my worst nightmare. New tab is full of notification badges. Sidebars within sidebars. Hierarchical tabs so you never know where any tab is. Pop-ups and flyovers and all kinds of shiny distracting animations. It's the absolute antithesis of what I as an ADHD person want in a browser. They've added more distractions and invented places to hide them so you're forever finding a new distraction.
