Yes but Megaupload was taken down completely with FBI involvement, grooveshark are only being sued. If "the labels" could have Megaupload taken down like that because "the labels" were scared of this new "industry disrupting" feature why wouldn't they do the same with Grooveshark, why would they do it the "proper" way? If you have a power drill you don't use a screwdriver, although maybe it can be argued that they didn't want to "show their hand" with Grooveshark and figured it's small enough to sue into oblivion?
