Does this analysis assume rent stays the same? I can't see its assumptions for rent prices changing. Because I calculate my mortgage as being worthwhile by comparing what I pay monthly in interest vs. what I would've paid in rent. Interest payments go down, rent goes up. It's an easy comparison to make - ignoring any capital changes, which is just free money.
