Much as I think there's too much surveillance and am disgusted by DHS' many abuses, it's hard to get outraged about them doing voluntary interviews. Yeah they probably should be clear that they're voluntary, but on the scale of things going on that's pretty minor.
The story doesn't even allege coercion.
- moremetadata 4y agoJust ignore the fact that someone higher up the foodchain signed off on this and wont be held accountable, for their deliberate exploitation of the law if not the spirit of the law, knowing legislators write the laws and sign off on them. Why do people keep voting for people to be their democratic representative again?
