One anecdote that sounds like it should have been handled by the administration of the school much better than it was. Trans males should not be competing in girls sports. They are only doing so because of the right's insistence on unchangeable biological sex. As to the "primary reason for the change"... you're going to have to provide evidence because that's doubtful. People act like social transitioning is a walk in the park... it's not. People aren't doing it for the incredible benefits of being trans, believe me. You sound like you have an axe to grind and maybe need to do more research and less believing the falsehoods about trans people.
