I don’t agree with the argument. It shows one design for unsigned integers with confusing implicit conversions and concludes unsigned integers are bad. There is probably a different design for adding unsigned integers to Java that would be good. I’m not saying a good design exists or would be worth the cost to implement. This post just does not explore the solution space much.
