SC4 (which I still fire up on occasion) has playable regions; in fact, that was the top-line new feature for that installment. Graphical polish would have been nice, but what the game really needs today is an engine upgrade -- it arrived just before the broad adoption of x64 and multi-core consumer CPUs, so it can't take full advantage of modern systems.
