There are plenty of "neurotypical" people who apparently can't separate fact from fiction.
- fredgrott 4y agoit is a personality disorder not Asperger, for example Trump has the same problem not due to Asperger but due to the personality disorder he has.
- anotherman554 4y agoMental health criteria are ultimately going to reflect what society considers "normal". Since 46.9 percent of voters voted for Trump I'd say society considers him "neurotypical".
- lawn 4y agoThat normal people vote for him does not imply that he himself is normal.
- anotherman554 4y agoI'm guessing the vast majority of people who voted for him don't believe he has a personality disorder. While I admit I'm making an assumption, if I'm correct I'd say that makes him "normal." Ultimately, if you are what people think of as "normal" you are normal.
- lawn 4y agoI don't think the definition of normal is what other people think of you, rather it's if you act like other people which Trump does not do.
- anotherman554 4y agoActing differently from other people could mean you are a poet, an astronaut, or a race car driver. But in the mental health context you are only abnormal if people think you are.
