This only works until people notice that many at the top (company/society) were the cheaters.
- runsWphotons 4y agohonestly doing my assignments seems to have gotten many of my less honest peers better careers. (my smarter peers mostly did better too though)
- bee_rider 4y agoHow do they get to the top? If they’ve cheated their way through school, they shouldn’t have the skills required to do good work.
- zamnos 4y agoWhy "should"? Isn't the important thing whether or not the student has the skills, not how much homework they did? Because not all students pick up things at the same speed, and some are naturally gifted and don't need to through the same amount of homework to get to the same skill level.
- jamilton 4y agoYou're presuming a 1. a meritocracy, that only the most skilled people move up 2. that the skills needed for school are the same skills that allow you to move up. I don't think these are necessarily safe assumptions.
