I did approx 12 month sabbatical when I was 28, back in 2013. I travel a bit, spent few months in hometown I left when I was 15 and then move away again realizing why I was so happy to leave it in first place. Looking back to that year I am happy to say that I wasted a year of my life with nothing good or productive that come from it. But maybe that was exactly what I needed to go through. If you feel like doing it, than why not do it. Life is long and you can always revert.
