Is anyone surprised? It's been extremely obvious that all the players in the crypto space are incredibly shady grifters basically from the start. I honestly can't tell if the people on HN who constantly comment about crypto actually being useful are just young or are actively part of some form of fraud.

- rippercushions 4y agoBecause Binance is (by their own numbers) by far the largest exchange, and sketchy as hell? Coinbase is also a financial dumpster fire that's likely to run out of money within months, but compared to the competition they seem like a paragon of virtue.
- Euphorbium 4y agoNot all of them, just like 99%. I dont know any grift or scams that kraken or bitstamp pulled, and they have been big players from the start.
