- unixhero 4y agoUsed it for 5 years in production, it is a good idea
- oarsinsync 4y agoI used google reader for 6 years.
- unixhero 4y agoWhere did it get you though?
- oarsinsync 4y agoIt got me lots of good ideas. Until I gave up following all my RSS feeds when it shutdown. Now I get fewer good ideas.
- cloakedcode 4y agoThe original post is about self hosting to get away from vendor lock-in. Using something like this defeats the purpose a little.
- tweetle_beetle 4y agoMaybe not in the long run, but more reliable than community created scripts which may or may not be: up to date, migrate data correctly, etc. They all suffer from it, but it's especially the non-Docker ones like Yunohost that seem to be worse in my experience. Anyway even if Cloudron goes under, you still have your own data on your own machine if youve set it up like that.
