Toblerone has 62% of sugar, I'd personally consider anything beyond 55% of sugar as cheap chocolate. Also 28% of cocoa is definitely on the lower end, I expect quality chocolate to be at 30% of cocoa.
- crazygringo 4y agoThen you shouldn't buy milk chocolate. Milk chocolate is for people who like sweetness and want a lot of it. Toblerone is candy, remember. You should be buying dark chocolate of your desired cocoa percentage, and leave the (high-quality) sugary chocolate for those who want it. But without telling them their chocolate is cheap, because it isn't. There's no need to be judgmental about people's chocolate choices.
- sys42590 4y agoI agree that Toblerone is candy. This also explains why it's hard to find good Swiss or Belgian (e.g. Leonidas) chocolate that matches the 62% sugar content of Toblerone.
