We used to call this "having a whitey" due to the paleness. Vomiting was frequently the next step, but the screaming ... Not seen that.
First time users were particularly susceptible due to taking a good hit from a high dose joint.
As with all things, set and setting, dosage matters.

Some people with non Caucasian skin have been known to consume Glutathione to whiten their skin, but its frowned upon probably because it will give people the personality of a vampire or body snatcher. Anyway if anyone wants to rejuvenate themselves so they can experience their very first Whitey again, especially if one is a connoisseur of bongs in their their nursing home or Florida retirement park, Glutathione is available online as a supplement, your body might just thank you by giving you a few more years.
