The one that stands out to me is disabling the AC. Hope there's no kid or dog in there when they do it while the parent is in the store or whatever. I don't like any kind of built-in backdoor in any product, but apparently we don't get a say in that anymore.
- JumpCrisscross 4y ago> one that stands out to me is disabling the AC Wouldn’t this be an argument for driving the car home over disabling it? (I’m not sure, but I thought ignition lock prevents ignition. It doesn’t turn the car off if it’s already on.)
- NewRandThought 4y agoOff topic, but you should never leave a kid (or pet) by themselves in a locked vehicle. Child vehicular heatstroke kills ~50 kids every year in the US. Most of those cases are actually unintentional.
