Who cares? Expected lifetime CO2 for an F150 is 100 tons. So, equivalent to 10 more pickup trucks. Seems like the progress is worth the cost.

Last time I checked for european SUVs, my in the ballpark guesstimate after doing the number crunching was 0.001 to 0.01; So about as many as car traffic probably is creating by means of non-CO2 based costs and damages anyway. The later number takes into account having subsidies either directly as well as for infrastructure paid for, and accidents happen to the life and health of motorized road, together with more direct pollution and effects of land use in mostly our cities.
