- dmarlow 4y agoIt would be an interesting way to cover a lot of ground and see the world. I don't think I'd personally would want to do this indefinitely though. Cost wise, it seems to be on par with bargain cruise costs (from what I remember). I'd hate to be stuck on a cruise ship when there's a malfunction or illness spreading.
- InfamousRece 4y agoPresumably their internet access is provided by the satellite connection? Will this be good enough for a zoom meeting?
- ksaj 4y agoThis would probably feel a lot like living on a compound. Some people come and go, and then there's the core group that you know for the whole duration because they're there for the same reason you are. Visiting the different countries would be a nice payoff for enduring all that communal time. But after a while, I'd expect a lot of the experience to become really tiresome. As someone who has live/worked on a compound, and visited other compounds, I can say that there is a lot of atypical psychology in how people interact when they know everyone they meet is in passing.
