I have sort of similar feelings now about Elon Musk's companies as I do about new Google products - I'll consider them when it's been fully demonstrated that there's no risk whatsoever to me, since it's pretty clear that they are uncommitted to being a reliable provider and have more of a spray-and-pray strategy for success. Having said that, the bar for inserting things into my brain is significantly higher than trying new gaming platforms and at least Google seems pretty careful about not doing physical harm.
