It's ironic that 15 years later, the latency between the movement of the camera and the targets has only got bigger (original video vs the first one in the "Final prototype" section).
- pxmpxm 4y agoFirst thing I've noticed as well - feels like the same 1990s VR experience.
- throwaway4aday 4y agoTo be fair, they're running it entirely in a web browser using only software with no specialized hardware.
- BHSPitMonkey 4y agoAnd probably hasn't been optimized nearly as much as it could. It's clearly meant as a fun tech demo / early exploration.
