It's terrifying that America has reached the "propose fascist laws for laughs" stage. It doesn't matter if it's supposed to be a joke, or not serious, or anything else.
But that's not at all surprising given that the ex-president who immediately tried overturning an election the first chance he got is one of the two front-runners for the party whose politicians propose this...
- jfengel 4y agoThe other front runner is the subject of the bill for registering bloggers who criticize him, and has championed a lot of other ways to punish his political opponents. He also is very likely to seek to quash elections that go against him. One or the other is very likely to be the nominee. And because this behavior is very popular there a very good chance they will win the general election.
