I never use my home office area for anything other than work. When I’m am not working I will throw a sheet over the desk so I can’t see it so I can use the rest of the room. It’s very important to me to have some kind of physical and visual separation between work and home. I might use the desk to do my taxes, but that’s it.
- matthewfcarlson 4y agoI love the dedication! But I use my personal desktop for all sorts of personal/creative pursuits as well as gaming, which makes it harder to have just eschew the desk completely. Having separate machines helps somewhat, but then if I start on one, I tend not to switch to the other when it's time to switch
