God created gender and is not defined by gender. Humans have recently increased the scope of controversy by redefining English words. The pronoun 'he' previously could refer to a person known to be a man, or a person with unknown gender, or deity. The pronoun 'she' was reserved for specifically a person known to be a female. Note that this usage in a sense confers more status to women (not less). Hence, in English, the closest word we have to refer to the Christian deity is 'he', often capitalized.
Using she for deity is confusing, as she has always meant a specific gender. It implies a new theological claim that the Deity has a gender.
Making up a new pronoun because some people have sown confusion in the language seems, well, even more confusing.
