I feel like all these conversations need to be a diff against the movie Her. If it was already covered well there, why repeat it?
- jobs_throwaway 4y agoThe themes in Her were already covered in scifi novels many times over. If they had already covered it, what was the point in Her?
- bentcorner 4y agoFWIW I've heard of the movie but have never seen it (nor am I familiar with the plot details, only that it involves an AI), but after this thread I should go and watch it.
- nullsense 4y agoI made that mistake. One of the most contrived, boring, sappy, fake feeling movies I've ever watched.
