Using brushed motors in 2023 is really stupid. Yes I know there is a semiconductor shortage, I know Silicon Carbide is expensive and silicon is not very efficient. But seriously. Batteries are also expensive. And brushed motors are very inefficient. This is just another sign that BMW is way behind in electrification.
