Do you have a busy life outside of said road- trips? I find that a prescribed amount of time alone with my thoughts lets me process the things I have to think about. Once I’ve processed said things (which could take the days of your road trip during busy phases of my life) I prefer stimulation to letting the thought-patterns I’ve developed become circular upon themselves.
