What A.I. we have today is better than a hand held HP scientific calculator in relation to the Space Shuttle under the guidance of IBM computers before Sun replaced them. The trouble is Elon M types rarely break through the class ceiling to leadership position and make informed technical decisions. (The effective Wintel monopoly on computing has had patchy performance compared to the HP calculator's correctness, see Nasa TIL on the 486 cpu.)
