The U.S. has warned on China's support for Russia
- LatteLazy 4y agoPersonally I would welcome some action on China. I find this pretty confusing however: First, there is really no way to know or prove if/how/how-much China is supporting Russia. The sort of support that China would offer is for generic products like artillery shells. You won't find "made in China" on those when they arrive in Ukraine. You won't know they've crossed the border even. And Second it's weird to me that all the shit China has pulled (bullying it's neighbours, starting actual fighting with India, running internal concentration camps, retreating from what little rule of law it had, launching multiple new zoonotic diseases etc), the bit the US actually cares about is support for Russia? The issue with this is that the US (and the rest of the west) lack credibility. China will rightfully wonder if our warnings are sincere or just posturing and for internal political consumption.
