I may have found a clue to a Covid lab origin
- junofan 4y agoThis is and always has been the official lab leak hypothesis. It’s even in the WHO’s writeup.
- albertdekker 4y agoI haven't come across any media articles referencing either the CDC move on December 2nd, or the new location close to the wet market. Would be interested in any articles you know of! Most lab-leak discussions I come across focus on the WIV. And many sources mention a lab leak is inconsistent with the geographical evidence, e.g. the Guardian recently: > Wray’s public endorsement of the lab leak theory runs counter to the conclusions of several prominent scientific studies, as well as the assessments of some other US intelligence agencies. [...] “Two prior studies – one of which I co-authored – demonstrate clearly using multiple lines of evidence that the pandemic emerged into the human population at least twice over an approximately two-week period at or immediately upstream of Huanan market in association with the live animal trade,” Angie Rasmussen, a professor with the University of Saskatchewan in Canada, told the Guardian this week. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2023/feb/28/fbi-director-endorses-china-lab-leak-covid-theory https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2023/feb/28/fbi-director...

- PM_me_your_math 4y agoFirst time I'm hearing of a relocation. Sounds like a perfect opportunity to drop or lose something infectious. CDC? No wonder fauci is in a panic.
- theGnuMe 4y agoChinese CDC not US.
- albertdekker 4y agoYes important distinction. Just discovered this was in fact recently discussed by Angela Rasmussen: https://twitter.com/angie_rasmussen/status/1630563803971633153?s=20 https://twitter.com/angie_rasmussen/status/16305638039716331...
