Bad management doesn’t know what they don’t know, doesn’t know what you know, doesn’t understand that you know more, and possibly at the same time subconsciously does and fears a knife in your hand. Never let the stress of bad management impact your health. And if it isn’t and the money is fine, try to laugh. Your “superior” is only that in hierarchy. Never let them suggest otherwise. Shoot, if you want some fun and don’t mind some fallout, go talk to HR. As a one liner, if you feel motivated manage up, if you feel demotivated, leave, and if you feel feisty, reach out to HR. Or do none of these because I’m a stranger on the internet. Just don’t let the words of a fool get you down.
