- warning26 4y agoThe decline in work friends seems fairly attributable to remote working. In my experience, two things are the case: 1. It’s very difficult to make work friends at a WFH job 2 If you mention this in a comment thread, someone will inevitably retort with “Well clearly you should be making friends outside of work ahahahaha checkmate”(paraphrased) It’s clear from this study that “work friends” have value, and it’s also clear that you’re not going to form lasting bonds over Slack chats.
