- ROTMetro 4y agoI spent the last 6 months of my prison sentence in a halfway house. Not one dude there went to work at Amazon. Guys would rather go back to prison over not having a job than work at an Amazon warehouse. I personally worked in a recycling plant (sorting through trash/waste on a 70mph conveyor belt pulling out minimum quota of 60 pieces of cardboard a minute in 100+ degree temps wearing special gloves so that used needles didn't stick me and getting splattered with who knows what) over Amazon. Amazon fix your sh!t. Prison jobs ran by prison guards see their slave workers more as people than you!
