I think trying to control human behavior better might be futile but something we could improve would be the supply chain issues. And for added benefit that would also apply to other potential disasters. Like imagine the impact if the Port of Los Angeles couldn't operate for X period due to an awful earthquake.

Perhaps I am mistaken, but most of the supply chain issues seem to have been caused by the reopening more than the pandemic. The economy cannot be shutdown and re-opened on a dime. I think it was a big mistake to think it could be.
