Just another example of state capitalism. Another huge handout to Tesla.
I personally happen to think it's fine for a government to do this kind of thing, but let's call it like it is!
- somat 4y agocapitalism is the free market. when something is interfering with the market, that is not capitalism, in fact, this is the opposite of capitalism, the controlled market.
- CrackerNews 4y agoCapitalism is the private ownership of the means of production in the hands of capitalists. State subsidies do not change the ownership.
- CrackerNews 4y agoState capitalism is when the state owns the means of production. The state does not own Tesla, but it will be economic protectionist for privately owned businesses under it.
