Boss at a previous job in Berlin always followed the mantra that cycling is less dangerous than driving (Because heart disease). Always wondered if that still holds in the US after seeings those numbers and how dangerous roads can be if you're on a bike. Berlin wasn't all that bike friendly either, but at least you weren't the only one on a bike.
