I am surprised they said absolutely nothing about wastewater testing: https://biobot.io/data/ https://biobot.io/data/ We have a much better method for knowing how much covid-19 is or isn't spreading, which does not require the individual to take a test in a way which gets it reported, or even to take a test or know they are sick, at all. It shows a peak a few days before the peak in clinical cases happened, back in Jan 2020 when Omicron was peaking in clinics. It shows a peak in the U.S. in late December, nowhere near the Omicron peak of 12 months earlier, and I'm sure it will show a (relatively low) peak every winter to come.
