T-Mobile hits 3.3Gbps network speeds with Standalone 5G
- bearjaws 4y agoDoesn't really matter if you have to be line of sight and 30ft from the tower... T-Mobile rolled out 5g here in Central Florida and its laughable. They are completely overwhelmed with all the people moving to here. I used to have Mint mobile since it was cheap and I buy my phones outright, but since its on low priority network its basically unusable now. I got stuck in dead stopped traffic a month ago on I4 and I could barely stream 360p YouTube with full signal. LTE gets 40mbps max, and is very unstable. 5G just makes my phone hot as far as I can tell, occasionally I find one spot where it gets 500-800mbps...
