I signed up for duolingo over 6 years ago and was a happy paying customer. I had a streak of 1810. But I quit. I realized I was burnt out with it when I noticed I was just doing whichever lesson was the quickest to get my points to keep the streak going. I just couldn't be bothered doing it. It was funless and joyless. I grew to resent it.
