Problem is the constant push for more and more. They don't want to hire mediocre 'getting the job done' people. They want people who stay up until midnight working on some project that a partner mentioned at a dinner, just so that they are recognized for their effort 6 months later in a review. While people like me try to do their job itself as best as possible, while maintaining a healthy work-life balance and don't get burned out. But it's not the way.
