Depends on how much energy the train uses. I would guess that the maintenance and supporting infrastructure for the 'occasional' car would dwarf the cost of a railway.
- rootusrootus 4y agoIt would be difficult to eliminate the road, however, so that infrastructure is going to exist either way.
