I'm not worried about it becoming hyper intelligent and taking over the world Skynet-style, for reasons I won't bore everyone with. I'm somewhat worried about the potential of things like ChatGPT to endlessly churn out plausible-sounding-but-subtly-wrong drivel that will drown out real information. But that's already happening thanks to the advertising-driven nature of the internet. ChatGPT will only accelerate it.
