The actually invisible NIR is 940nm but generally IR therapy devices come with blockout goggles like you'd use in a tanning bed. I'm not sure the power levels of this hoodie but if you're 3 meters away from an LED it's way different from if you are 10cm away.. I wouldn't assume safety when making up new use cases for a 'safe' product.
