String.to_existing_atom is good for this use case!
- innocentoldguy 4y agoTrue, but I've seen several newcomers try String.to_existing_atom/1, get frustrated that it doesn't produce what they want, switch to String.to_atom/1, and then show up in stand-ups all proud that they "worked around the issue."
