As long as there are no patents or trademarks, I don't think you can argue much for copyright of a similarly looking icon say of a football. It's an icon, not a logo. Logos would be trademarked. But I am not a lawyer.

- crazyperson1 4y agosome of the icons on this app literally have TM in the corner lol. The creator of this app is straight up just stealing icons on the web.

- distances 4y agoI don't think your reasoning is safe at all. I'm obviously also not a lawyer, but when doing commercial work it's better to assume everything is copyrighted unless explicitly otherwise mentioned.
